Eye Stye is a bacteria-infected localised inflammation of the upper or lower eyelid. An infection bacterium is transferred from one hair shaft to another. Styes are usually harmless. It is contaginious disease. The eye stye is a small abscess of the glands in the eyelids which can occur externally and internally. They can occur at any age. Eye stye is seen for the several days. This disease does not affect the vision. Styes may be red and sore. They will fill with pus then burst spontaneously. For the eye stye wear protective eye goggles when swimming.
