Mature Dating - Dont Kiss And Tell When Dating
Some people may not think that there are rules to dating but there are. They are not the rules that say you cant talk to someone unless they call you first or you shouldnt tell to much on the first date or you shouldnt let your date know you like them until a month later or any of the other crazy sayings that are going around. You can choose to do what you want with those however; the rules that are important all deal with courtesy. It is a great mature dating tactic to be courteous of the other person.
If you know you are going to be late give your date a call and let them know. If you wont be able to make the date let the other person know. If you are just not feeling the person let the person know. If you are not courteous and honest while you are dating you are not being mature in the situation. It is only right to consider the other persons feelings when you are dating. You should do this even if youve only known them for a very short period of time. You wouldnt like it if someone was inconsiderate of you or your time therefore you shouldnt do it to anyone else. One of the biggest faux pas of mature dating is to not kiss and tell.
This doesnt mean dont tell anyone if you have physically kissed someone, but this means you shouldnt tell anyone anything about your date. They deserve the privacy and to know that whatever happened during your time together will not be exposed to others. This means you shouldnt share with anyone if you told the other person that you werent interested or how you broke it off. This could be embarrassing for the other person and could even hurt their feelings if they were to know that you told other people about how you ended it with them. You shouldnt tell others about the conversations that you shared while on your date. It is not the proper mature dating thing to do to tell others all about your dates business. If you feel the need to talk, expose yourself not someone else who doesnt even know that they are being exposed.
Courtesy and honesty is the best policy in the mature dating world. You are responsible for keeping the other persons business to yourself and not spread it all over town. Think about how you would feel if you found out someone was sharing your lifes experiences with people you didnt even know. If your date trust you enough to tell you these about their life, you should stand up to your end of being a mature dater and keep it between the both of you. This would not only be the responsible thing to do but it will also bring about good karma for you. You should always remember to treat people the way you want to be treated. When you do this you are doing the right thing and doing the right thing will make you feel a lot better about yourself.
