Planning A Second Date
When it comes to choosing something to do for the second date, choose a fun activity to keep it casual and light; youre still trying to get to know the person on the second date. When calling for a second date ask them what they would like to do, and if they tell you that they dont know or dont care, take the initiative and make some suggestions. When deciding what to do, try to stay away from movies or double dating because these activities tend to limit conversation. You want to get to know the person and you want to be able to keep the conversation flowing. Try going for a walk on the beach or a hike in the park. Miniature Golf is a popular activity for a second date because of the fun factor; there is little pressure and the relaxed atmosphere will make the two of you more comfortable. Bowling is a classic activity and perfect for a second date as well. Its tons of fun and you can have some great conversation at the same time. If youre looking for something different, check your local paper for upcoming fairs (art, food, etc) or events at your local park. Try to keep the second date fun. If you want to make it feel less like a second date, ask them out during the week. Friday and Saturday are usually date nights so see if theyre available during the week. Plan a short date that doesnt run too long such as grabbing some coffee or a drink after work. Afterwards, you can schedule a third date for the weekend. Now that youve gotten over the second date jitters, the third date will be much more comfortable. Dating isnt easy and seldom does it go exactly as planned. When planning your second date, try to keep it simple and fun so that you dont end up overwhelming your date. Use PlanJam.com to find dating advice and fun date ideas
