Coronavirus is really having an hugely negative impact on the UK economy with a cost as high as £2billion per week.  Not only is there a short term impact, but the cost of all the Government schemes and unemployed benefits will be long lasting, and literally be a burden for most of our remaining life times.

Initially like everyone else I though Covid-19 would be limited to China in much the way Sars was or otherwise milder like Swine Flu was.

There is a growing feeling of anger at China, and it will be interesting to see if this turns into a long term backlash with people stopping buying China sourced goods.  It may be for a short time but long term things will return to normal, or the new normal.
